On the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays, the Krk Handicraft Association organizes a series of eight free creative workshops during the months of March and April.
It is about five meetings during which the possibility of making Easter eggs using the felting technique of Krk sheep's wool and decorating Easter eggs with painting techniques will be presented, as well as three meetings that will contribute to the preservation and transmission of the traditional technique of weaving olive branches.
The two-hour workshops intended for all ages will take place in the premises of the Association, at Trg sv. Kvirina 1, in the city of Krk, according to the following schedule: Tuesdays, March 7, 14, 21 and 28 and April 4, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., when all interested creatives will have the opportunity to try wool felting and painting, and on March 30 and 31 and April 1, at the same time, when it's time to weave olive branches. Leading the workshops is entrusted to the valuable members of the Association.
On Sunday, April 2, at the stand in front of the headquarters of Handicrafts Krk, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., there will be a presentation of everything that was made during the mentioned workshops, along with a public demonstration of proven techniques.
